A safe pedestrian crossing is an intelligent traffic solution that improves pedestrian safety at crossings using modern technology. It includes features such as active LED lighting, pedestrian detection, traffic light warnings for drivers, and integration with smart traffic systems. Smart Pedestrian Crossings (SPC) has been designed to raise pedestrians’ safety and provide the driver with instant notification that the pedesrtian is crossing the street. In the mode of flashing warning lights after the activation of the SPC are one of the most effective means of preventing a traffic accident at a pedestrian crossing. Given that pedestrians are increasingly vulnerable road users, we want to constantly come up with more modern road safety solutions.
